HUGE Twist In The Burgess Hill Takeaway Pizza Saga
4th April 2018
By Peter Chapman
There's been a HUGE twist in the takeaway pizza saga in Burgess Hill with the news that Pereira's Restaurant & Tapas Bar is the subject of a change of use application to become a hot food takeaway.
With the problems Papa John's are having in getting permission to move into the former Lantsbury's estate agents on the junction of Station Road and Queens Crescent, it makes sense that they'd be looking at another option to increase their chances of getting approval for somewhere in the town centre.
Here's the layout proposals for the conversion of restaurant into a pizza takeaway....
It's all pretty standard and what you would expect for a pizza takeaway outlet to look like.
Are you ready for the real twist now?
Wow. Papa John's are having troubles and here come Pizza Hut, parachuting into an essentially ready-made location with parking out the front.
It really will be 'Pizza Wars' if we get Dominos, Papa John's and Pizza Hut all operating out of Burgess Hill simultaneously.
For more information about this application, check out planning reference DM/18/1215 on the MSDC planning portal
Spread the word, Pizza Hut are looking to bring their home delivery service to Burgess Hill

Do you think of Pizza Hut wanting to come to Bugress Hill and having located a venue that Papa John's seeminly missed out on or turned down?
