Full List Of Shops Remaining Open At Market Place Shopping Centre, Burgess Hill

The town is pretty much in lockdown, but a number of essential shops are permitted to stay open at this time. Here's a list of the stores still operational at Market Place Shopping Centre:
- Waitrose - 07:30 - 19:00 (car park entrance only from -17:00)
- Boots - 09:30 - 18:00 (closed between 2-3) (car park entrance only from 17:00)
- Wilko - 08:30 - 17:00
- Grape Tree - 09:00 - 16:00
- KJ Thorne - 07:30 - 14:00
- Pets Corner - 08:30 - 18:30 (car park entrance only from 16:00)
The mall leading from Greggs/ Hair Essentials will be closed from 4pm. This also means the doors leading from the Martlets into Market Place and the car park entrance by KJ Thorne will be closed from 4pm.
The remaining mall from Boots/Boots Opticians up to Vodafone will be closed from 17:00pm.
Waitrose impose customer limit
To help with social distancing. Waitrose have introduced a 34 customer limit in the store at any one time. This measure also allows a 2 metre gap between customers at the checkouts without spilling down the isles.
Customers waiting to enter the store were queuing past Boots, keeping a decent distance between each other
