It's Official!!! - Ping Pong Parlour Installed At The Martlets Shopping Centre

In what will be a big surprise to Burgess Hill locals, NewRiver Retail - owners of the Martlets Shopping Centre - have made good on a proposal by actually using an empty shop to house a number of table tennis tables for the public to use for free.
Justin Thomas - NewRiver Retail Director, announced in August that the company were in talks with Table Tennis England about providng the facility and it's become a reality with the former Argos shop being branded as the 'Ping Pong Parlour'. Your reporter has spotted three
Ping Pong Tables in the unit, but with it still looking rather shabby inside, it's not known at this time when the facility will open to the public.
We'll update you when we receive more details from the shopping centre.
