In Photos: The Maple Drive Community Group's Annual Summer Fayre

They had to battle with England's World Cup Quarter Final for the public's attention, but regardless of the turnout, the Maple Drive Community Group can be proud of the community fayre that they held on Saturday 7th July.
You reporter managed to get a front row seat saved in the Burgess Hill Town FC clubhouse to watch the game on the big screen which allowed 40 minutes to see what the fayre had to offer.....
Following an absolutely pointless speech by the 'Mayor' of Burgess Hill - which also included cutting a ribbon nowhere near an entrance - it was time for the Burgess Hill Marching Youth band to perform in the ropped off central arena. Due to the heat, the members were allowed to ditch the formal uniform and appear in shorts and polo tops.
