Papa John's Pizza Find New Premises To Remain In Burgess Hill
11th January 2018
By Peter Chapman
Fears that Papa John's Pizza may have to leave Burgess Hill due to the upcoming redevelopment of the Martlets Shopping Centre have been ended with the news that the popular takeaway has found a new suitable location just around the corner.
Papa John's are currently located at the bottom of the 'Martlets Heights' building and have to leave at the end of February along with a number of other businesses ahead of its complete demolition to make way for a Cineworld.
Papa John's are now on the move to 51 Station Road, the business unit most recently used by the short-lived Lanstsburys Estate Agents.
An application is currently with Mid Sussex Distict Council for a change of use from A2 (Financial and professional service) to A5 (Hot food takeaway) This should be a formality with a number of takeaways and restaurants already situated on this part of Station Road.
The move also brings them much closer to arch-rivals Domino's pizza!
Here's the proposed layout of the new store
Spread the word, Papa John's have found a new home and will be staying in Burgess Hill
