keymer tiles housing development Keymer Tiles Residential Development Update - Spine Road Through The Site Reaches Kings Way

6th December 2016
By Peter Chapman

Exciting times at the Keymer Tiles residential development as the long-awaited main spine road through the site has now reached Kings Way.

Temporary lights are now in operation on Kings Way by Rolfe Drive to facilitate the road's construction. They'll be in place until the turn of the year.

Most excitingly, a portion of the solid site hoarding has been removed, revealing the landscaping work done to the southern end of the site which had been hidden from view for two years.

Here's some pictures and video to show what's been happening at the site lately:

Here's how Kings Way is looking at the moment.

The road is taking shape and it looks like that contraption is making things flat.

Here's the view of the Southern part of the site that was hidden from view for a long time. This also gives a better idea of how the road entrance is shaping up.

Here's a view of the north eastern end of the site from Kings Way. There's new houses in the distance.

Here's the classic view of the site from the top of Cants Lane that we've been regularly snapping since the develop began. It'll make an interesting timelapse once all the building work is complete.

Here's a closer look at some of the first phase of houses that are nearing completition.

This is the view of the development from the children's play area at Wyvern Way.

The first few completed properties are being used as show homes. Sadly the site security didn't invite us inside.

And finally, a bit of video:

Spread the word, the Keymer Tiles residential development is really beginning to take shape.
