Video proof that the Burgess Hill special needs school will cause TRAFFIC CHAOS

West Sussex County Council carried out a traffic survey in Chanctonbury Road when deciding whether to allow themselves to build the new special needs school on the same plot of land occupied by London Meed and Oakmeeds.
Their findings must have been acceptable as they went ahead with the application which they subsequently approved for themselves. This went against the opinion of local residents that claim there's already terrible traffic congestion in Chanctonbury Road during the school run for London Meed, a problem that would be even worse with the addition of yet another school.
Two different opinions on the traffic situation, but who is telling the truth?
There was only one way to put the issue to rest, so we here at Burgess Hill Uncovered grabbed our video camera and filmed our journey along Chanctonbury Road at 3pm on Friday afternoon. The footage speaks for itself........
There's already been discussion about the video on our rapidly growing Facebook Page One member pointed out that we didn't encounter a bus. That certainly would have been an interesting obstacle to have come across on the already treacherous route and the video would have been much more exciting for it!
Having seen the footage, do you now feel about West Sussex County Council allowing themselves to build a new school in this clearly unsuitable area?
