If Portslade win toss:
1. If they bat first and get 200 runs, then bowl out Seaford, they would get 30 points. Burgess Hill will need them to get no more than 179 runs, as if they win with that total, they would only get 26 points.
2. If they bowl first, Burgess Hill would need them to not take more than 7 wickets. A win would get them 26 points.
If Portslade lose toss:
1. If Portslade bat first, Burgess Hill would need Seaford to win – as Portslade would get 30 points for the win whatever the scores.
2. If Seaford bat first, Burgess Hill would need Seaford to not lose more than 7 wickets. It means a Portslade victory would only achieve 26 points. If Portslade were to take 8/9/10 wickets, they would get 28-30 points and have enough. |
