Brewers Arms Charity Disco In Aid Of Combat Stress
-
Saturday 11th November 2017
The Brewers Arms is very proud to present A Military Themed Disco in association with the veteran’s mental health charity Combat Stress.
Join DJ Chitty from 8pm on Saturday the 11th of November for the coolest tunes around.
Music To Get You Singing All Night Long
Chitty points out that you can go to other venues in town where they'll only play one song the entire evening that people will sing along to, but at a DJ Chitty disco, ALL the songs will get you singing. You can expect to hear songs from the likes of Oasis and The Killers along with other Indie and Britpop tunes.
What The Night Is In Aid Of
The Brewers Arms felt it would be great to commemorate Armistice day this year, particularly as it’s on a Saturday, with a cool event that would also enable us to contribute positively to the community and to a good cause.
Our good friend Jessica Hook works for the organisation Combat Stress and at the same time we were thinking about an event to do.
Combat Stress had a high profile advertising campaign running in the press in places such as the Daily Mirror so we felt it would be perfect to team up with them.
Combat Stress does great work with military veterans regarding their mental health and well being. We will have fundraising collection pots available on the night for any donations, and there is a fundraising page online at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/james-o-sullivan3
Location:
The Brewers Arms, 251 London Rd, Burgess Hill, West Sussex, RH15 9QU.
