Burgess Hill Rugby Club are hosting the New Zealand Rugby Experience Summer Camp for the 5th year in a row this August. If you are looking for somewhere for your kids to blow off some steam in a safe and structured environment, then this is a great opportunity.
The non-residential camp runs from Monday 14th – Friday 18th August and is open from 9am – 3pm every day. The kids are split into age appropriate groups and no experience or understanding of rugby is needed, as the activities are all focused around fun games and exercise – all they will need is a pair of trainers, packed lunch, sunscreen and plenty of energy. Kids are also taught the traditional New Zealand Haka which will be performed to parents on the final day.
The cost of the camp for the full week is £145.00 which works out at just £4.84 per hour, it’s cheaper than child care!! Alternatively, a day rate of £27 is available for those unable to make it every day. Kids attending for the full week will also receive a limited edition 2017 NZ Rugby Experience T-Shirt. A discount is available for families booking more than one child.
Steve Blanthorn from Burgess Hill Rugby Club told us :
“The camp just keeps getting better every year and the kids absolutely love the NZ coaches. The kids run around and have fun in the sunshine for 6 hours and when they get home they are totally ready for bed!
"Last year we had a lot of new kids, both boys and girls, taking part who had never even touched a rugby ball before and they all had a fantastic week, some of them have since joined the club as regular members. This affordable, great value for money and so much fun, what’s not to love?”
