Having lived and worked in Burgess Hill nearly all my life and raised my family here, I understand the needs of our residents.

I have seen the town decline from a vibrant, thriving community to a mere shell of its former self and, if elected to the Town or District Council, I will endeavour to ensure that we attract independent shops and retain something of our own identity.

I will fight to obtain much-needed additional services whenever new housing developments are approved and ensure that a significant proportion of the housing built is truly affordable, so that our children are able to remain in the area where they grew up.

I will resist further privatisation of our services because I believe that public utilities should be run in the interests of the community and not big business.

I will campaign to improve our local environment and vital green spaces and pledge to do my best to represent the people of Meeds ward fairly and responsibly.
