Following
a half hour interval, it was the moment the Burgess
Hill Uncovered team had been waiting for.
The 18+ Roller Blade category!
There were only 2 entrants, but this didn't matter,
as the 2 were Dave White and Terry Wallis.
Last year Dave landed on his head when attempting
a summersault, so famously captured on video by
this website.
Terry is famed for launching off the big ramp,
clearing the safety barrier and landing on the
grass.
We were about to be royally entertained.
The
mini-ramp evidently has a spring planted in
the middle.
Picking
a stone out that got wedged between the wheels?
Terry
demonstrates good gymnastic ability with this
handstand.
Performing
a grab in mid air after he cleared the barrier
and is headed for those bushes!
Dave
mounts the top of the barrier, the extra height
of his decent will enable him to...........
fly
really high in the air like this when he launches
off the ramp!
Here
is some sort of a grind, the DJ in the yellow
t-shirt looks impressed.
Dave
is midway through yet another acrobatic move,
fortunately he lands on his feet, someone's been
practicing since last year!
